The Kenepuru Road will be open soon.

From Spring 2024 the Kenepuru Road will be open to Te Mahia Bay and then by December the road will be open to public all the way to Hopewell(yay!!!) This provides more options on how to get here. You can water taxi from Te Mahia Bay and this will cost $25 per person each way. And this summer explore the majestic Kenepuru Sound as you drive around the Sound to the end of road and paradise!
