Part of the adventure is getting here! With the Kenepuru Road closed to the public until March/April 2022, check out these options of how you can get to Hopewell and there are many. These options are really affordable and a very scenic and pleasant way to travel to Hopewell, sure beats driving on that winding road! Thanks to the Marlborough District Council as they are subsidising flights and water taxis here. From Havelock pricing starts at $25 per person with the Pelorus Mail Boat on Tuesdays and Saturdays and the Hopewell Water Taxi charges $35 per person and runs on demand, although you’ll need to book in advance. Or you can come from Picton with Cougar Line – Marlborough Sounds connecting with the Hopewell Water Taxi through Waterfall Bay.  And there’s always the Havelock Water Taxi which is great for groups. And we can collect you from the Queen Charlotte Track too. Flights from Picton to our local airstrip at Nopera with Pelorus Air start from $74 per person and we offer free transfers from the airstrip to Hopewell. Or you can do kayak hire to get here with Sea Kayak Adventures including pick up and drop off from Picton. We have moorings available if you want to use your own boat.
